This semester has been great. I took my first audio production class and I really enjoyed it. This class was mostly focused on the radio side of audio production as opposed to the music editing side. I am more interested in music edititing but this class helped me realize that I am doing the right thing for me, by pursuing a career in audio. I was originally registered for the advanced audio production (this class covers music editing) classfor this spring but for some reason CMU dropped the Tuesday/Thursday section of the class that I was registered for, so I had to register for another class but I am looking forward to taking the advanced audio class next year. One of my favorite things to do in my free time is to work on making some of my own music. I really enjoy writing lyrics.
Over Christmas break I am working at Timber Wolf Lake, a young life cmp in Lake City, MI. At Timber Wolf Lake all their buildings and outdoor furniture is made out of wood and needs to be stained so it can look amazing for the middle school and high school students who attend camp during the summer. I really enjoy working at Timber Wolf Lake because I know that I am doing something so other can enjoy the camp.

The Winter 2017 semester will be my last semester of undergrad. I will graduate in May 2017 with a Bachelor of Social Work! I am currently doing an internship at Teen HYPE. They are a youth empowerment organization and I am enjoying it! After I graduate I plan on going on to grad school and am currently in the process of working on my applications.
I hop you have a wonderful holiday!
Best,

Thank you for EVERYTHING THAT YOU GUYS DO!
This semester I have finished my internship at the 30th Circuit Court. It was a great experience and I'm excited to continue next semester. Through them I have been able to volunteer with the Child Benefit Fund which is a very rewarding organization. I have not really had any trips but I've been busy planning for graduation and planning a wedding.
Thank you for everything and I hope everyone has a great holiday!

Good afternoon!
I finally got them in the mail. I received a Year One General Education Certificate, and a Degree in Science. I want to thank all of you for everything you have done for me. In this moment I have never been more proud of myself, and as thankful. I am so happy to have been chosen by all of you as one of your "kids". Without the help and support you all provided me I wouldn't have been able to graduate. It was amazing to know I had such kind people in my corner rooting for me. Going to SMC and being a recipient of the Kids' Chance of Michigan was a chapter of my life that I will never forget. Thank you all again for everything.
With Lots of love,
Paige
